About

One operator runs it, not a pitch team.

mikee.pro is a one-person marketing operations practice led by Mikee Shattuck: fourteen years running paid media and demand generation, including multi-channel annual budgets above $50M — and the human who sets up and then operates every system the practice sells. Not a platform you license. A person you can reach.

The work has been the same shape for a long time: find out what the marketing actually produced, build the system that shows it, and then run that system properly. The titles changed — ecommerce manager, marketing manager, senior marketing manager, marketing operations — but the job was always the measurement layer.

Along the way that has meant running paid acquisition across Google, Meta, YouTube and LinkedIn for B2B and B2C brands, managing budgets above $50M a year at Chevalier Advertising, and judging the work on return on spend, acquisition cost and lifetime value rather than impressions.

Today it means setting up and operating the systems as well as directing them. Collins OS — the marketing and intake console for a 15-office law firm — has nine data feeds, four subsystems and its own health checks. It replaced a spread of vendor dashboards, and the same person still watches it every week.

Automation and AI tools carry a real share of the work now, and they are used the only way that holds up: doing the repetitive part, with a person reading the output before it is used, because that is where they can be wrong.
